COMPANY HISTORY

“Grant” was founded in 2000 in Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski. Initially its operating activity included services dedicated to the regeneration of casting equipment and machining of forgings for the nearby Huta Ostrowiec.

As a result of the adopted development strategy, in 2005 the Management Board of the company made a decision to increase the production potential by purchasing a production hall along with its equipment, which then belonged to the Department for Construction of Metallurgical Equipment of Huta Ostrowiec. Thanks to this, the production capacity of Grant was expanded by an area of 15,000 m².

Within the next five years, the production hall was completely modernised and equipped with modern machinery and equipment for the prefabrication of equipment for iron and steel, mining and power industries as well as in terms of providing services within the scope of machining large workpieces. The production of large-scale and highly processed steel structures also started in that period.

The company made further investments in 2015 and 2016. It was at that time that Wytwórnia Konstrukcji Stalowych “Ostrowiec” with the area of production buildings of 20,000 m² was leased and 40 highly qualified employees were employed. Moreover, Grant purchased all movable property from the Official Receiver of Wytwórnia Konstrukcji Stalowych “Ostrowiec”.

The stable financial situation and consistently implemented development strategy of the company were acknowledged in the ranking of the most dynamically growing companies in Poland in 2004–2007. The company was presented the Gazele Biznesu award in the category of companies which achieve very good financial results and are reliable business partners, making it possible to establish the position of the Grant brand. What is more, further development achieved by increasing the capital of skilled workforce, systematic expansion and modernisation of equipment resources as well as continuous improvement of the quality of the offered services and products strongly contributed to the participation of the company in the implementation of significant investment projects in Poland and abroad.

Today, the qualifications and competences of the employees as well as the technical potential allow the company to implement specialised tasks within the scope of, inter alia, manufacture of equipment at each stage of an investment project, i.e. design, prefabrication of mechanical equipment, installation of electrical/power/hydraulic systems and commissioning of equipment as well as service and post-warranty repairs.

What is more, a steel structure production plant started its operation in the area of approx. 27,000 m² (in both locations of the company), with a production capacity of 600 tonnes of steel structures per month. Our additional advantage is good location in the central part of Poland thanks to which Grant supplies equipment and structures for the purposes of investment projects implemented across the country.
